'Parenthood' debutes on NBC (See the full episode here)
March 03, 2010 -- 'Parenthood' debuted on NBC Tuesday night as what's sure to be NBC's next big show. Ron Howard and Brian Grazer bring fans a remake of the popular 1989 movie starring Steve Martin. The show focuses on the different generations of one family.
From the grandparents all the way down to the grandchildren, the adult children as the show's main stars. The cast includes Craig T. Nelson who fans will remember from 'Coach' and 'Poltergeist.' Lauren Grahmn from 'Gilmore Girls,' and Peter Krause from 'Dirty Sexy Money,' along with numerous familliar faces.
Peter Krause's character is dealing with an over emotional son and a rocky relationship with his father, played by Craig T. Nelson, which is the show's main plot. Lauren Graham's character Sarah is hit hard with a finacial burden after her divorce and is forced to move in with her parents.
Dax Shepard of 'Punk'd,' and 'When In Rome' also adds his spin to the story, playing Krause and Graham's goofy brother who is the classic slacker who is scared of commitment. You can watch the first episode of 'Parenthood' below.
